These past few months, I’ve been busy juggling my thesis with blogging and writing jobs. First and New Career

I got hired by Safeway Philtech as a programmer analyst. I am very happy about the result of my application. I know I did perfectly well especially on the panel interview. All right, not perfectly, but I believe I did a great job. During the panel interview, I just freely expressed all my thoughts and feelings to the two interviewers. At first I think I was really stiff and a bit stuttering, but as the interview progressed, it was just like breathing. What a big headed person. Yes. Me. Anyway, I am excited to work with Safeway. Day one will be on April 7. I will still be filling up lots of necessary papers before starting. With my new career, I’ll be capable of buying hot lingerie collections for my loved one! Haha. Kiddin’.

But this new topic that I will be discussing deals with a more powerful work out experience. I am talking about the treadmill. Actually, I have no experience with this machine yet. My "Young" Business Pursuits

I remembered when I was younger, I have this strong pursuit of establishing an extraordinary store. I imagined myself selling priceless items like artificial jaw breakers, microscopic microphones, a tankless water heater and mercenary sticks, if you know what I mean. Actually I don’t know either. I have a lot more stuff in mind but it would fill up my entire blogspace if I enumerated them all one by one. Anyway, back to my hot entrepreneurial pursuits. I would like to name my store: The Thrift Shop. Very unique. That is my point. Everyone wants to have a unique name for their stores. In my case, I just want to use a normal name. That separates me from the other store owners. I am also considering the name: The Store. Or Louis Shop. Or Tindahan ni Mang Louis.

Today, my young plans have changed. I would still want to have my own store but I am planning to sell anti-aging products and supplements. I will reopen my Nu Skin account and I will have the most number of downlines in the history of MLM! Am I serious? It’s for you to judge.

Exercise for Health

I have been actively working on my exercise routines lately. Almot everyday, I make use of our indoor cycling machine. I try to run for 8 KM almost every day. The feeling after an intense work out is really invigorating. It keeps the blood flowing. I recommend that you always have regular work outs during the day to stay healthy. Hopefully, when I get more money, I will buy one of those expensive ellipticals that I saw on Metro TV.

Alarm Clock Incapacity

My alarm clock (cell phone) has been very unsuccessful when it comes to waking me up early in the morning. It seems like my brain is already immune to the sound that my alarm clock (cell phone) creates. Thesis has been a very thick piece of work. Every time we have a thesis night, I always wish I have energy pills with me. I really push body to stay awake until 6 in the morning, very cruel Louis. In connection to my first few sentences, I think over fatigue and high levels of stress and pressure are the reasons why my alarm clock (cell phone) always fails to wake me up on time.

Last year, I worked for Storm consulting as an intern. Our main project was the PeopleScore, which is a software that manages performance reviews of employees in a company. The People Score web application was created using PHP and MySQL. We used the Codeigniter framework for PHP. I wonder how much it has been earning today. It’s been over a year since its launch.

I joined an online group called 43 Things. This sort of online sharing group gathers people who aspire for certain things in life. This involves material and immaterial aspirations. I have already stated 2 goals. One is the goal to start a new life. The other the goal to slow down.

Members are also capable to share their insights by creating entries. I just remembered this one entry from a member who wants to start a new life away from all the people who know him. Another member made a comment to his entry and he suggested that he move to Las Vegas. He said that Las Vegas is a great place for people who are willing to start a new life. He also pointed out that hotels in Vegas provide lots of great opportunities and they pay good. I wonder what’s in a Vegas hotel.

 I have been through times when I really need money but then when I insert my hand in my pocket, I get nothing but bus tickets and tissue papers. If I am lucky enough, I’ll be able to pick a couple of 5 peso coins. Most of the time, whenever I receive a pay from one of my “rakets”, I tend to spend the money in just a few days. After becoming a “One Day Millionaire”, I am back to again to the beggar status. This cycle has been haunting me over for quite a long time.

Our Red Car

Just a month ago, my father bought a new car. And it’s a red hot car. I’m not talking about “hot cars” that had smuggling issues. We’re not that rich. It’s a Mitsubishi Lancer.
